Our Services

Bungalow makes it easy. Here is what you can expect from the process:

First Step
Talk to us! During our free initial consultation, we discuss the vision and budget for the project. Following this conversation you will receive a written proposal.
Design
This is the fun part! After getting a sense of your lifestyle, Bungalow will develop plans and incorporate your feedback — as many times as necessary — until the design is perfect for you and your family. We provide 3D renderings to help you envision the space. We assist in selecting finishes and offer interior design expertise and access to showroom discounts.
Permits
We file and obtain approval from the Department of Buildings and other relevant agencies — including demolition, foundation, plumbing, sprinklers, and septic system.
Construction
Bungalow will solicit competitive bids and help you to select a general contractor. Unlike with a design-build firm, you won’t be locked in to an expensive construction contract before your plans are even drawn up. Once construction is underway, we monitor the progress and sign off on final inspections.

Pricing

The construction of a new home is a large undertaking and a huge financial decision.

Choosing the right professional engineer or architect is the most consequential part of the project. In fact, a quality design results in real cost savings and adds to the value of your home. Our fee is a small percentage of the overall budget and is competitive with other design firms working on residential projects.

Bungalow’s comprehensive flat fee includes a custom design, construction plans, project approvals, expediting, and construction support. You will never be billed extra for design revisions.

We certify dozens of routine inspections required for each project and, unlike most other firms, do not charge additional fees for this service. This can add up to tens of thousands of dollars in savings throughout your project.
